USPS Tracking Scheduled Maintenance Aug 8, 2026 20:00 - Aug 9, 2026 04:00 EDT
The USPS has scheduled maintenance on the Product Tracking Reporting (PTR) system. During the maintenance window, the USPS will not be processing manifest files or providing scan events for tracking numbers. Once the maintenance window is completed, the USPS will work through the backlog of files.
During the maintenance window On Demand Tracking will work, however scan events created during the maintenance window will NOT be reported until the maintenance window is completed. The tracking functionality on the USPS website will have the same functionality as the On Demand Tracking during the maintenance window.
Start Time: Saturday, August 8 at 8:00 PM ET
End Time: Sunday, August 9 at 4:00 AM ET

As part of ongoing effort to strengthen USPS API infrastructure, USPS will be performing system maintenance for USPS APIs in PRODUCTION environment on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, 9:00 PM EST for 4 hours.

The impacted systems will be done in a rolling fashion and not all at once. The service disruption duration should only be for several minutes.

End Time: Thursday, August 13, 2026, 01:00 AM ET
